Hi!!! Welcome to my website! My name is Nettie Brown and I’m a lover of science. I’m currently a 3rd year Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. student at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University in Atlanta.
My main inspirations for this website are my grandparents. My grandpa was the first in my family to get a Ph.D. and then became a professor. My grandmas are just as amazing, one was an educator and one was a nurse. My family values education and believes that we should be life-long learners. To that extent, with the privilege of education, we should share our knowledge and help the next generations. So that’s why I wanted to start this website, to embody my grandparents philosophy on education by sharing my science!
